MMU3 with Mk3.5S
Hello all,
I Upgraded my Mk3s+ to a 3.5s a few months ago, now I wanted to buy a MMU3. I did chat with support, but the result was a bit confusing. They told me to get the Mk3s version of the MMU, but it is no longer for sale since some time now. Since the 3.5 uses the same Motherboard and somewhat similar firmware than the 3.9 and 4, can't I just use the current version?

I've been successfully running an MMU3 on my Mk3.5s that originally was running on my MK3S. However, I agree with you and can't understand why you couldn't run the new version MMU3. The important thing is having the right cable for the interface.
Maybe try Prusa support again with a different person? It's possible not all support agents are knowledgeable in this area.
