MMU3 First Print
This is Prusa MMU3 on my MK3S+. I ordered the kit within a few minutes of it being available. Assembly was OK. Some of the instructions need a little tweaking. My first print was this sheep in PETG. Technically it's 4 colors - white, grey, terracotta, and pistachio. Obviously I'm getting a lot of stringing because of the travel between the object and the wipe tower. I'll have to work on a better setup for drying my filament and keeping it dry. The first print went smoothly with one exception. The filament sensor was not detecting the filament after about 5 minutes. This is despite it passing several load-tests before starting the print. I had to adjust the screw that controls the sensor position several turns more than the assembly manual calls for. After that, the print completed as expected. I have to adjust a few things about my setup, but overall I'm happy with it. PS - I'm relatively new to 3D printing; I got my printer in March 2023.

RE: MMU3 First Print
That's really beautiful! Did you have to change any of the default settings to print with the PETG ?
I had some issues with MMU tuning for this material, but this was 1) with a previous version of the slicer / MKS3+ firmware and 2) previous version of the MMU.
If not, did you have a chance to take a look at the tips that formed on retraction (and whether they were round or had long tails ) ?
Prusa is MK4S w/ MMU3 (formerly MK4 / MMU3, MK3S+/MMU2), 2 Prusa MINI+, Octoprint. PETG, PVB, (some) PLA.
RE: MMU3 First Print
Judging by your second picture, you are getting really stringy tips? This and wipe tower issues are what I'm having a problem with on PETG and I mostly print PETG. Have you had any success fixing this? I've got a thread under Assembly and first prints troubleshooting forum laying out all the issues I have been having.
RE: MMU3 First Print
The good news: even with those nasty stringing the print works. Very promising - cannot wait for my upgrade.
