MMU3 and CoreXY?
Is there some info, if CoreXY will support MM3 or some upgrade?
If order upgrade from MK4 or wait? 🙂
RE: MMU3 and CoreXY?
The MMU3 is supported by the Prusa Core One.However, there will be a new option for the filament.I think similar to the AMS.I would definitely wait.
RE: MMU3 and CoreXY?
The Core One supports the MMU3 by default. I don't think there will be any new unit like the AMS - maybe there will be a new way to store the filament spools, but not a new way to feed and manage the colours that go into the printer - the MMU3 will still do that. It was shown in the launch video sitting on the top rear of the frame.
Remember, the Core One is similar to the MK4S already - just a Core XY design - hence why there is an easy upgrade path and a lot of parts are reused. As a result the extruder is pretty much the same (other then the nozzle and cooling fan orientation), so the MMU3 works as normal without any major changes at all.
As for the Core One, it does look like the top panel is removed when using the MMU3, since the filament feeds in from the top rather then from the side single spool holder.....

RE: MMU3 and CoreXY?
Perhaps I have expressed myself misleadingly, but the MMU3 remains. It also has great advantages over the AMS in terms of speed and waste.
Only the filament storage should be similar to the AMS in a housing, perhaps with an integrated buffer. The Prusa employee at Formnext was unable to provide more details.
