I am very disappointed in Prusa and their MMU3. I will never recommend this product. My MMU 3 has an over current alarm and nobody has a legit answer. My MMU3 is a $400 paper weight.
I am very disappointed in Prusa and their MMU3. I will never recommend this product. My MMU3 has an over current alarm and Prusa has no answer. There is no excuse for this. I paid a premium for a prusa product and got an inferior product. I want a solution or my money back.

This is your first post from a new account.
Have you contacted Prusa Chat?
can you describe your set up?
What steps have you taken to try and address this issue?

I agree with Joan, what's your question?

I agree with kvorhies and understand the frustration. Its a known issue with a number of upset people. I have talked with support and no luck. Same with others who have gotten replacement parts shipped to them. I too have the issue and the only way I can get my machine to boot is to move the mmu3 selector manually during boot. It gets me by the error. I can't remember where I saw that mentioned in one of the many threads I've seen on this topic.
I have been watching the following thread on github where they have been discussing this issue in detail. It gets technical but is a very active thread.

Hopefully one day they will come up with a fix.

The issue finally has been properly diagnosed and resolved. Replace C96 on the xBuddy board with 100nF capacitor. Prusa has just recently become aware of this but hasn’t yet committed to a course of action.

I don’t know what that means. I just want my printer and MMU3 to work like it should.

I am not a programmer or a coder. I bought this printer and MMU3 so my boy and I could share time together printing things he liked. Now my printer is useless. My 6 year old boy asks me all the time when we can print something together again. I have to tell him I don’t know. The product has failed us.

The firmware update to 6.2.3.Alpha has fixed this problem!
I personally am not really too thrilled about an alpha firmware hotfix being the answer. I'm hoping that a more solid solution is provided soon... to be frank, a big part of why many of us have shelled out the $$ premium for a Prusa is to avoid this type of situation. It is a little disappointing just how long it's taking to find a permanent solution, but the reality is that nothing is perfect and these types of problems are inevitable no matter how great a product you're buying. I guess I can see both sides in this case. I'm patient but dissatisfied.
