How to tell the mmu3 what filaments are loaded.

Is there a place in prusaslicer I can get an overview of the filments presently loaded in the mmu3? and set them.

Example. I now have loaded Esun pla in position 2. Thats it. no other filaments present.

On the mmu3, under Manage filaments, loaded filaments it shows:

Position 1: Dark. I can't even choose it. What's that about?

Position 2: PLA (preset)

and the same with the other 3 postions. PLA (preset).

I then try to send a print to the printer from prusaslicer. One filament, Esun pla, and prusaslicer say that "The loaded filament does not match the one specified in the print file. Proceed anyway?"

Why?

on My Mk3 Printer with MMU3, the Printer has a list of filaments that it is expecting
when the Gcode for a model (usually Bgcode on the Mk3.9 and Mk4 printers) is loaded, the printer compares the filaments specified in the Bgcode, against what it has in it's internal list. and if there is a difference, it alerts the user with the message and the LCD Screen offers an option to revise the internal list to match what the Bgcode is advising,
the bottom option on the LCD Display, is the option to change the internal list, held by the printer

Ok. Right. Thank you.

Is there a way to send filament info from prusaslicer to be stored on the printer?

So I don't have to write every "custom" filament manually directly on the printer?

Or is it simpler just to get the warning. Double check all filaments are where they should be and ignore the warning?

If you get the warning, and respond by changing the filaments in the list, then next time the filaments will match.
