Can't flash my new MMU3. Bootloader device could not have been found.

I just finished hooking up my MMU3, and am trying to flash it to the newest firmware, but every time I try I get an error message saying the Bootloader device could not have been found.

Windows 10

PrusaSlicer 2.8.0 (redownloaded to ensure drivers were up to date too)

MK3S+  FW started on 3.14.0 also tried 3.13.0

MMU3 unflashed

The printer flashed to the new firmware just fine. I unplugged the USB, ensured the MMU3 was set to ON in the settings, and hit the reset button. When I was on firmware 3.14.0 the printer immediately started beeping and said to update the MMU3, it quickly changed and started saying MMU3 unresponsive. When I plugged the MMU3 in and tried to flash it to FW 3.0.2 I got the device could not be found error. I tried a few different USB cables and different ports, I tried hitting the reset button on the MMU3 with different timings and nothing changed.

I read some suggestions saying to revert the printer to an old firmware, flash the MMU3 to the old firmware then try updating them both. I flashed the printer to 3.13.0, ensured the MMU3 was ON in the settings, and tried to flash the MMU3 again. The printer quit giving me the message that the MMU3 was unresponsive, but I am still getting the device could not be detected error.

The lights on the MMU3 are on, and the printer seems to detect it but my pc can't. I have tried every USB port on my pc, but defaults to the same port I use to flash the printer. I have tried multiple USB cables, but the one I use to transfer files to my tablet is known to be good and to do data transfer. I am really not sure what else to try at this point.
