You kind of can, the cables are entirely different (the connectors to the Einsy on the MK3S and the Buddy on the MK4 are completely different so you'd have to get the cable for the MK3S from the parts shop). There's also a "chimney" part that you put on the MK3S extruder that includes a metal threaded insert you screw the MMU into. I never had an MMU2S so I don't know if the extruder setup is the same.

Provided you have that covered you can move the MMU3 unit between printers with a little fuss (you also have to move all the tubes, buffer, etc etc). I've been moving mine between my MK3S and my MK4.

please wait, very soon, there will be an upgrade from MK3S+ MMU3 to MK4/MK3.9 MMU3 available on the e-shop.

The package includes all the parts you need for your MK4 to become MMU3 compatible.

I'm wondering if there is even the hint of any news as to when the MMU3 for MK3s to MMU3 for MK4 will be available. We seem to the the forgotten children in this entire process. I've got a fully functioning MMU3 that was working great with my MK3s+ and then I upgraded my machine to an MK4 and now I have NO MMU capability and not even a guesstimate as to when that situation can be fixed.

im absolutely aware of all the necessary changes to the mmu3 and the mk4 extruder. I’m just looking for some kind of estimate for when the kit will be available. All other variants have an upgrade plan and available part kits to create a working mmu3… except those of us that bought ann mmu3 and then  upgraded our mk3 to an mk4. Just seems like an unnecessary oversight or conscious decision to leave us out of the party.
