MMU3 Continues to print on wrong position or in the wrong size after a solved fila-error
Hi
I'm not sure how best to describe this. 😔Â
After various filament errors (fila-stuck etc, it doesn't matter) the MMU3 (MK4) either continues to print at the wrong position or in a wrong scaling.
I checked each layer in the PrusaSlicer, nothing wrong there. I also tested with several different print files, it doesn't matter.
The filament errors shouldn't have anything to do with it, I guess that are my faults. (wrong Settings, Protopasta)
It now happens after practically every second Filament-Error.
Â
Wrong position:
As if the X or Y axis were suddenly offset.
After solving the filament issue, it prints offset. As if the coordinate origin of X and Y is no longer in the middle of the print bed.
With "luck" it prints over another object (see picture 1), no luck: in the middle of nowhere : spaghetti party.
Â
Â
Incorrect scaling:
The printer continues to print in the right place, but in the wrong size.
As example: I enlarged the original object from 100% to 120%, sliced and exported it correctly, it prints in 120% as it should, but after the error it suddenly continues in 100%.
Wrong Scaling after filament stuck:
Â
Â
I can't get any further here, and I'm despairing and have no idea why it happens, or what I could try.
Since I have the MMu3, I haven't made one print without an issue.Â
I appreciate any tip or help 😭Â

Using Prusaslicer, MK4, MMU3, ObXidian 0.4 Nozzle, different types/brands of PLA
RE: MMU3 Continues to print on wrong position or in the wrong size after a solved fila-error
Sorry, I don't have an answer, but just started experiencing this myself recently on larger prints. Â I'm in the Original Prusa Enclosure, and thought the tube holder was causing the problem, but it persisted. Â Its always on filament "2" for me.
RE: MMU3 Continues to print on wrong position or in the wrong size after a solved fila-error
I replaced my "filament two" with a different roll, (Inland PLA+ vs Inland PLA standard) and removed all of my tubes and re-routed them; finally had a successful full size 10+ hour print with 300+ tool changes, no extrusion errors.
