Issues with my first few prints, any advice?

I have printed 4 models using my new MMU3, with some success (I posted a sheep make).  However I have had two issues.

First, the filament breaks inside the PTFE tube.  My workshop is at 30% humidity so I don't think water is the issue.  It seems to happen when I use a roll that is nearly used up, and the filament bends in a small radius.  I had one very curved piece of filament which broke every 4 cm inside a straight PTFE tube.  I have started using rolls that are nearly full, this seems to help.

Second, small wisps of filament tend to gather near the leading edge of the filament.  You can see this "junk" moving back and forth as the filament is withdrawn and reinserted.  Eventually, they cause an error with one of the sensors and need to be cleaned out.  It seems to happen most often when there is a color only barely used, so it switches between filaments more rapidly.  I've been trying to get a photo of this.

Thanks for any help!

One month later, I have switched exclusively to Prusament PLA in my MMU3 and I am no longer having filament breakage problems. The thin wisps trailing off the end are also much reduced. ESUN PLA+ works fine on my other MK3S machines, but in the MMU3 it is prone to breakage in the PTFE tubes.
