Can't flash the mmu3
I bought the MMU3 kit with the Mk4s kit. Didn't really have any trouble assembling them and printed several prints with great success on the mk4s before deciding to tackle the MMU. As mentioned, it went together fine. My problem was when I got to step 10 on the MMU assembly instructions which is where you flash the newest firmware for the printer and MMU. Flashing the printer was fine, but when I try to enable the MMU in the printer settings it gives the following error message: "Can't enable the MMU: enable the printers filament sensor first.".
I have two problems with that. First, the filament sensor was already enabled. Second, the filament sensor is removed from the nextruder as part of the upgrade for the MMU. If I turn the filament sensor off and then back on in settings it asks me to calibrate it, which then fails because it is absent. None of these things allow me to turn on the MMU. When I contacted Prusa they instructed me to do step 15 of the instructions, but I can't even get past step 10. Anyone run into this problem?
RE: Can't flash the mmu3
And I think I solved my problem. I did what they asked me. I went to step 15 and redid the calibration for the filament sensor. The first time I tried that, it failed. This time it worked. I really do think the instructions for step 10 should warn people what to do if you get that error message. It's really counter intuitive to have to skip ahead to step 15, so that you can complete step 10.

Thank you for taking the time to post the resolution. I suffered from exactly the same confusion. I agree about making a note about sensor calibration first.
