anyone replace the MMU2 "entry" PTFE tubes with something metal?

just wondering, I think im about to start looking around for metal tubes. just wondering if someone has played around with something like it.

im thinking brass, not sure if it even maters. but my mmu would love it. what ever that first real long PTFE tube was that came with my MMU2 that's about the length I think im going with. almost like real small break fluid tubing.

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

On the entry to the MMU, there is a small kink in the path to provide some resistance and prevent the filament moving back past the drive gears.

So I think you do actually need to have a flexible input tubing which can navigate that kink.

if you want to go for anything made from metal you really want to go for stainless steel or aluminium so the parts dont corrode and maybe create small particles that could get all the way into the extruder if you are unlucky.
