Re: Successful MMU2 prints
Most impressive Peter. 2 day plus, 5 colors. Has to be other a 1000 filament changes?
I thought kisslicer only did 4 colors?
About 1,400 tool changes. Testing KISS pre-release with 16 "extruders".

Those look great to me. The one layer skip doesn't look to bad, unless you have ocd. My clownfish came out like that and I felt I had to do it again and win, do the model justice.
How long did it take before you started to get success with mmu2?

Re: Successful MMU2 prints
Only 802 tool changes, 27hours @pjr
The 93% failure was a logic error with Robert's firmware. The small failures were back with stock firmware and I forget stock firmware must calibrate Bowden length. Successful print was lastest stock firmware, Bowden length caliibrated.

the snail is a keeper,
after 2 months give or take a week ( early October). I'm super happy that it's working, and the people on the fourms help a lot ( I can't say how much thank you's it would take. Now I can focus on tweaking the settings since the prints I have increased one extra cooling move and its helping with the crunch sound at the extrusion.
Re: Successful MMU2 prints
Adalinda
3 colors, 28 h 18min
I had one unload error where the Filament didn't clear the Finda. But i could fix it by pressing the right buttons on the MMU
And some racing frogs and a snake:
There is some color bleed as i didn't change the purge settings
Used Filaments (PLA):
- Prusament:
- Galaxy black
- Lipstick red
- Silver
- Prusa Filament:
- Rapunzel silver
-Das Filament:
- Gold
- Gray
- Blue
- Orange
- Black
And some clear PLA.
The white one is something Hobbyking sold a few years back and was laying in my basement.
the only Mod i did was my version of this :
the printer runs the 3.4.1 firmware and the MMU the -126
All Filaments run the Prusament settings, except with a change to the load speed to 19mm/s.
The white needed a little bit more ramming (18mm3)
I tried to print frog Nr 8 with PETG and totally failed due to stringing.
Re: Successful MMU2 prints
