I’m getting a wierd load then the mmu jams. Ideas why ?

1. nice print.  So you already printed a lot of layers and had made a number of filament swaps.

2. Looks like you had just finished with filament 4 (green) for the nth time.

3. It retracted filament 4. The switch said it was clear. It moved the MMU head. But filament 4 was still in the MMU head causing the jam.

4. So that means the MMU switch signaled that the head was clear when it was not.

5. Check the sensitivity setting on the MMU filament switch. Repeat the setup setting for that sensor. It may need to be a touch lower so that it does not prematurely trigger.

I think it is the FINDA.

when printing, Go to ‘Support menu’  Near the bottom is sensors.  You can watch the Pinda, FINDA, and Filament sensors there.  Probably can also watch them if you connect a PC and run that software.

I had recently knocked my filament sensor out of wack on an Extruder rebuild.  That gave me a lot of load/unload cycles until I got it correctly recalibrated.
