One type of filament consistently fails to load

Hello

I am running into an unusual issue with a single type of filament that consistently fails to load with 2 different possibilities

- either the filament goes all the way down to the extruder, then rapidly moves up again up to the FINDA probe, then down again then up again and the system asks me if the colour is ok

- or it extrudes a large amount of filament, then stops and keeps showing the message "loading filament X"

In both cases, the LED of the filament path blinks orange.

The filament, lay felt is PVA based. It correctly triggers both the FINDA probe and the IR sensor. The only specificity I can think of is that it's slightly smaller than a regular filament (1.7 mm). I have had no issue printing with PLA, ABS, PETG and Nylon

What could be going on ?

Best

Damien
