From Object Texture to different STL files
Hi,
i have a 3D object in a obj+texture and would like to print the object with the colors but i need the different STL files for the slic3r to work.
Right now i found a (very) complex solution:
Open the obj in meshlab, transferred the color from the texture to the faces of the model, extract all the faces of one color from the model (basically removing all faces except the one of the single color i want) and exporting the STL of that color (repeating for the 4 colours i have in the model).
Is there a way to do it in a less complex way?
Sorry for my probably poor explanation but i just started using these tools right now so i am not an expert 🙂
