Have you tried to put MMU2 in silence mode? Loading/Unloading is slower in this mode.

RE: Flexible filaments and MMU2S

Hello everyone

I join the discussion as I have also the MMU2S and would like to print some Cheetah filament.
By following some videos and forum posts, I think I'm not too far away from the solution ,but probably some talented user here can help me to do the last step

What I did:

- I used the profile changes between MMU2 profile and single filament explained in this video:

- I set the speeds of the printing to 20mm/s
- I set the retraction to 0
- Set the temperature to 240 nozzle and 50 bed
- Added number skirts -> 5
- I then took out the extruder screw to insert the Cheetah filament, once well inserted I screwed it again without putting too much force!
- I launched the print from SD card
- I changed a little bit the z distance to a little bit more (from 0.9 to 0.7)
- I sed the textured bed

The result:
TEST 1
The print started correctly, I noticed the lines of the printed 1st layer were not stuck, they had small distance between them, it did the 2 first layers this way (not great but at least some surface there) and then started the perimeters and inner infill lines)..After 4 or 5 layers, the base started to retract and the surface was not anymore stuck to the bed, so I stopped the print

TEST2
I started again, this time the lines were not done correctly (already seeing curved lines where it should be straight for the 5 skirts it had to do)
The quares (base of 2 small cubes 30mm each) of the 1st layer were not straight, failu^re in angles and strange surface layering too, with holes -> I stopped again

I 'm sure I'm not too far away from a solution but cannot think about something else to try.
I hope Prusa can deliver soon a profile for FELX and MMU2, it's veryy disapponitng to have those limitations!

Thank you for any idea I could use to make some successful prints with this Cheetah filament.

Cheers
