Will MMU2S work on MK3???
Hi all,
I have bought a MMU2S kit from EBAY (proper Prusa) because i couldnt wait to buy direct from Prusa with the current lead time. But..... I think i may have been a bit impulsive. The MMU i have bought is a 2S and i just have a 2018 Mk3. My question to the forum is are these compatible, if so what to i need to do to make these compatible?

The MMU2 and MMU2S are almost identical, the difference is the Filament buffer.
So you can use it with the Mk3 printer, however the Mk3S printer is a small upgrade and makes a massive improvement. so please consider doing the Mk3S upgrade
the Mk3 + MMU2 only uses the Finda filament sensor,
The Mk3S and MMU2S uses the Find and the Infra red Filament sensor to track filament transport to the nozzle
