Why are MMU3 color changes ignored with Wipe into this object enabled

Why PrusaSlicer 2.9.2 removes MMU3 filament changes when Wipe into this object enabled?
As shown on this animated .GIF (oh I see the .GIF plays only if you right click it and select - open in new window - playback starts after 3 seconds):

Filament changes ignored

The object is really printed in single color. 
How is this a feature?
