Use MMU2 to auto load second reel when filament runs out

I often have the problem that my reel of filament runs out towards the end of a long print -since it's very difficult to judge exactly how much is left on a reel.

So I kind of assumed that the MMU2 would be able to deal with this and there would be a setting to choose which second reel to use when the first runs out. However I cannot seem to find any way of doing this. The default functionality powers down if filament isn't manually changed (which never happens as I'm asleep or at work).

So, firstly, is this a feature that I have missed?

If not, any plans to add this functionality?

It seems straightforward enough for the MMU2 to deal with this:
1: Filament runs out and the end of the filament is detected by the MMU2 filament sensor.
2: Mk3 auto unloads filament, this pushes the rear of the filament back into engagement by the MMU2 extruder
3: MMU2 fully unloads that short bit of filament
4: MMU2 moves to next filament and loads that in
5: Mk3 continues printing

Just activate the filament sensor and spool join in the printer settings.

Thanks -I hadn't noticed they had introduced this feature in the latest firmware.

One question though, does it ONLY move to the next extruder position? ie if it's using F1 and that runs out, will it only test F2 or will it move to the next position that has filament loaded, so F5 maybe?

it will go from F1 to F5 and then go back to F1 again,
