Slic3r / MMU not setting different temperatures

Today I tried an MMU print with PLA and BVOH.

PLA Temp is set to 205°C.
BVOH Temp is set to 195°C.

I am using Slic3r1.41.1-rc.

Slicer seems to ignore the set temperature of BVOH. The whole print runs with 205°C (except 1. layer, which is set differently)

I also can't find M104 S195 in the exported gcode file. Is there some special option which I could have missed and is causing the ignoring of the BVOH temperature?

Re: Slic3r / MMU not setting different temperatures

Thanks for the report. I did not manage to reproduce the bug in neither 1.41.1-rc nor 1.41.1 final. However, this seems to be the same problem as described in github issue https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r/issues/1073 (which we also could not reproduce). What you can try is checking that you have 'ooze prevention' turned off (although I could not reproduce it by turning it on either).

It would be great if you could provide AMF/3MF file of the situation where the problem occurs - as far as I know, nobody from that thread provided us with one yet. That could allow us to reproduce, track down and hopefully fix the bug. Thank you.

(If you have a github account, I would appreciate if you could join the 1073 thread instead of continuing the discussion here. Github's ability to cross-reference issues and commits and simple and effective search are invaluable in cases like this.)

I tried again and I can't reproduce the effect now. 😳 So I am pretty sure I did somehow made a mistake.

Re: Slic3r / MMU not setting different temperatures

Ok know I am pretty sure there is some sort of mix up with temperature changes with the mmu2 unit. And it is reproducible.

I’ve set up:
PLA: 1.Layer = 215°; X.Layer 205°
BVOH: 1. Layer 200°; X.Layer 200°

First time it prints BVOH it does it with 205°
After that it prints both with the correct temperature.

And there seems to be a problem with the ramming sequence. It does switch to the temperature for the next filament before it starts ramming for the actual filament. So it’s always ramming with the wrong temperature.

I will post this with files on github too.
