Prusa MK3S w/ MMU2S First Layer Calibration Error
Hello,
The first layer calibration works until after it has calibrated the 9 points on the sheet, and then it travels to the lower left corner and extrudes almost directly touching the bed until a small ball forms. It does not move while extruding and there is 1 other strange thing: the extruder bondtech gear rotates to extrude the filament out of the nozzle and the MMU2S moves the opposite direction to pull up the filament. See attached pictures for context. I can think of a few issues: IR sensor malfunctioning on either extruder or 5 filament selector, MMU2S gear getting dirty and interfering with a sensor or something, or the extruder tightener screw being too loose/tight to trigger the IR sensor properly. I also think this might have something to do with a software crash or the nozzle being too low with the live z axis. Please help me as soon as you can.

Doesn’t look like your IR sensor is detecting the filament. Try this guide:

Thank you, I will try this guide.

Thank you for the tip, the feed is working but I have to adjust the live z axis now so that the test prints stick to the bed and don't attach themselves to the nozzle.
