Printer shuts down after firmware update.

Yesterday I assembled the MMU2S unit for my MK3s+. I just downloaded the firmare and flashed the printer (Rambo) and then the MMU2s board. Both seemd to work well, But after that my printer shuts down after I turn it back on.

For the Rambo I used this file: prusa3d_fw_MK25S_3_10_0_4481_RAMBo10a_en-nl.hex
For the MMU2s I used this file:prusa3d_fw_MMU2board_1_0_6.hex

Any thoughts?

second thought about my former post

The printer hasnt been on since I build the MMU2s and put it on my printer. So it might be a powersafe thing? That would mean I connected something wrong I guess. I will look into that now, but still would appreciate any feedback

Cables checked

All the cables are in the correct place. So there should not be any issues

problems

try disconnecting the mmu power and seeing if the problem persists!

if the problem, still persists, disconnect the MMU data as well.

Did that

Disconnected the MMU2s completely, now my printer even quicker shuts down. With the MMU it takes a few second, now it instanly shuts down again

I wonder

I do have a MK3s+. I followed the steps in this manual, step 25. Since step 26 says MK3S\+ (optional), In case you upgraded from MK3 printer, you have to reconnect the entire extruder:

I did not follow step 26 since I bought a MK3s+ and did not upgrade from a MK3. I wonder if my printer is a MK3 with upgrade and it is just called a MK3s+ bacause the upgrades came with it? If so, should I rewire the entire Rambo?

I would back or downgrade the firmware.  If that works, post your issue on github and notify support via eChat.

The firmware you flashen doesn't look like the right one for a MK3s+

I'm not at my computer now, but I think you picked the wrong file if you really have a MK3s+.

I will check later to see what file are in the zip.

I think I checked everything

I did check every cables and all of them seems to be in place, I start to regret the MMU because before my printer worked like a charm. Maybe I should take the MMU away and teach it how to swim in the Maas (river close to me 😉 )

I really hope someone can enlighten me about what is wrong with it.

Baklin was right

He put me in the right track. I did use the wrong file. As shown in my first post I used the one for the 2.5. I feel so stupid now....

But thanks all for thinking with me. And Baklin, bedankt!!
