MMU2s Switches to unwanted filament

i have a problem with my mmu2 when printing with a single color.

if, for example I choose filament 4, it will load it to nozzle and prime a extruder and then will eject the filament and load filament1. (Always filament 1)

Anybody knows what causes this?

thanks

Hi, when you slice the part are you using the MMU2S profile or the single profile ? If you are using the MMU2S profile, the part defaults to the default extruder, which i suspect is #1. Either switch to single profile, which at print time will ask which extruder you want to use or assign the extruder you would like to use, if using the MMU2S profile.

I'm using the single profile and it still happens

Could it be the bug below? It is supposed to have been fixed, but what you describe sounds like it:

https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/2166

Specifically there is a bug where it outputs a "switch to filament 1" gcode that executes after the purge line, even though it's in single-filament mode.

fixed in 2.1.0 alpha1 on github not in 2.0.0

https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases/tag/version_2.1.0-alpha1

workaround - restart slicer when  after switching to MMU single mode
