MMU2 Slipping On Only One Filament

Hi All,

I consider myself pretty well experienced with the MK3/MMU2 combo (i.e. I've had successful prints in multi and single material modes) but I have not been able to figure this one out.

For the last few weeks the selector has been slipping on the number 4 slot. It'll start to load during the slow move but will immediately start slipping when it speeds up. I've adjusted the screw clamping tension of the selector, cleaned the hob gear, and cleaned the bearing.

All four other slots load and unload reliably.

Any direction as to what to check next is appreciated.

Thanks!

you should look thru the hole when its lined up and no filament in it. I know I have had to take small files and "clean up" a few holes. and it always seems to start on 1 filament path. youll fix it.. then a few weeks later... it pops up somewhere else for some different reason

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

Have you verified that the bondtech gear is perfectly aligned with the filament in F4 with the pulley assembly removed? I was having an odd loading issue sometimes which ended up being the adjustment I mention.

Another thing to check might be the bearing for F4 in the pulley body. Does it roll smoothly? Is the shaft that the bearing rides on inserted into the pulley body correctly - meaning the bearing is being supported from both sides of the shaft - not just one?

Let me know if that explanation makes any sense...
