Large blob when switching colors on the second layer

Hello,

I absolutely love my purse printer but haven't had a successful print with the MMU2s. The first layer prints just fine but when the printer attempts the second layer and is loading filament it just forces filament thru the nozzle and jams up on the wipe block. I have no idea what is happing here! Does anyone have any ideas? It almost seems like a software issue

There seems to be a firmware bug in 3.7 causing some random issues with the sensors. (The same blob happened to me when doing my first multimaterial print. The second time printing the same gcode worked fine...)

Try going into the printer settings and disable the IR sensor (the filament sensor on the extruder).

Re: Large blob when switching colors on the second layer

are you using the MMU version of the new filament sensor on yoru extruder?

this behavior is exactly what one would expect when you use the new firmware with the none MMU filament sensor setup.

In the Manual is a section of troubleshooting with this problem. I turned it to 3 and its working for me so far. Also check your nozzle. If your nozzle is worn down it can cause some problems. I recommend you check out this test. And as he says in the video don't save on the nozzle and buy quality products.
