How to change Min Temp in Firmware?
Hi there,
I have the problem that my printer is at a room temperature of 14 degrees and I keep getting the Min Temp error. Since this value is set to 15 in the firmware, I would like to change it to 10. How do I get this done? Unfortunately, I hardly know anything about coding.
Thanks for any helo in advance!

Just wanted to say I tried to follow the instructions for arduino but I always get error while trying to compile...
I don't understand what I am doing wrong.

15C lower limit s a safety feature, because thermistors get unreliable at low temperatures... you would probably be better to leav the firmware alone and simply, raise the temperature a little so that mintemp does not occur, instead,
one person reports putting a mug of coffee on the buildplate to heat both the bed and the extruder, prior to starting a print...

@joantabb
Thank you for your answer.
I only have the problem if the printer stops in the middle of printing. Mostly because of problems with filament change. The printer then cools down and as soon as it drops below 15 degrees the message pops up.
After that, it is no longer possible to resume the current print.
I saw that in the current GitHub version the MIN TEMP was actually changed to 10 3 days ago! However, I can't get the files to compile.
Maybe someone can help me with this? I tried the Arduino manual but always get an error message.

That's good to know! Thank you!
RE: How to change Min Temp in Firmware?
I believe in the upcoming firmware realease, the mintemp (both of them) have been reduced. Check on github for details.
RE: How to change Min Temp in Firmware?
I just wanted to write that it is worth raising the temperature and the error will pass. I also had this. Now I know that I did the right thing.
RE: How to change Min Temp in Firmware?
I just wanted to let you know that I have reduced the MinTemp to 10 degrees via the firmware. Since then everything has worked perfectly

Coffee is a really great idea, think about it, my printer and I start the day with coffee 🙂

I Agree. 😎
RE: How to change Min Temp in Firmware?
How about getting a simple IR lamp pointed at your printer a few minutes prior to turning it on?
These lamps are easy to get in pet shops, keeping food warm, drying woodworking glue, etc in a wide wattage rating.
REPAIR, RENEW, REUSE, RECYCLE, REBUILD, REDUCE, RECOVER, REPURPOSE, RESTORE
