Fixing MMU2S Sticktion & Motor Over-Current Issues
I’ve been experiencing sticktion problems with my MMU2S, where the motor intermittently hits over-current while trying to move.
Clean and lubricate the filament path and gears. Check for any filament jams or debris. Make sure the tension on the MMU2S idler is correct. Inspect the motor cable and connectors for any loose connections. Update firmware to the latest version.
After these steps, my MMU2S runs much smoother and the over-current errors are gone.
