Filament does not want to load into MMU2S

My filament is run through the tubing and I can get to come up to just where you can see it, but when it unloads the filament, it goes down and then it won't pick it back up again.  I constantly have to pull it in and out of the tube to try to get it to load.  Something the filament will come out of the hole that is lower down, and not feed all the way up.  I can see where it is lined up with the gears, so that is not the issue.

This is a constant battle I am having with it.

Sorry, I'm having a hard time following the description of the problem here. Can you post pictures or a video?

In my experience, MMU load/unload is typically gear at extruder or MMU, FINDA or filament sensor incorrectly setup, or huge tips that cant run through the tube.

I agree- I suspect a miscalibrated FINDA but cannot be certain as there is not enough detail in the post.

RE: Filament does not want to load into MMU2S

same issue recently, tested finda, extruder everything seems fine but struggle at each starting to print. After several try, without something different (i restart now each time with a filament ready to load by MMU). Before it was selecting the filament i define in menu, load the filament until extruder, stop, make some test (bed, ...) and start the cleaning of filmanent  then print. Actullay it won't load the filament until extruder loading thatn un loading, loading 3 cm per 3cm  then unload or reset or just stop to work.

There is no recent firmware update and i never have this behavior before. The classic setting of finda for first print but since this no problem of this kind for a year and now, the  printer seems to have the covid 🙁
