extruder motor work / click / not turn some time

Hi ,
sorry for my english, I'm french user 🙂
I have something strange on my MMU2 MK2. When I want print big file, my extruder block, sometime first and totaly after. The file i want print is very simple just un tub.. For example :

I update firmware, i check tension of extruder screw like prusa video . When I test , sometime the extrud click (like he was block, exept he has no filament) or not turn (but i have the little noise like if turn) even it's empty. When i push filament manually no problem

Sometime this appening : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dhy8v1AJsrwt0yc1xw1cf8T3kyDitlh9

Edit : I note , on big print it's alway the left side who don't print correctly. I don't unterdstand why ? :/

Any idea ?
Thanks to all

Maybe broken cable of the extruder motor? Would also explain why it happens in specific region (high, left side for example) during print.

Thanks for answer.
Yes it's only on left side, you can see on picture :

I check the cable but it's normal. I try to switch with X axis and the both work correctly : /

You said the extruder clicks sometimes, even when there is no filament loaded? That makes me think that you might have some debris interfering with the extruder gears.

Have you opened up the idler door yet to check for any kind of debris? I would do that. Make sure nothing is in there that would rub against the gears, or cause it to click like you described.

How did you checked it? If it's broken inside, it's hard to detect.

You perfectly right ! And you give me a idea. The bug appeared this morning , so i try whit LCD Screen to move extruder. He make noise but not turn. So i altern Z Axe up and Extrude fonction (I don't have put filament in extruder) . And after 3 mm on Z Axe, Hourra the extruder work again.
So i think youre agree, that meen it's cable ?

Sounds to me. You can contact Prusa live support and try to get a replacement if you're inside a warranty for free. If not, you can try replace the cables by yourself and if that doesn't work get a whole motor replacement.
