Do I need to replace my hotend?

I have a problem with my hot-end. At the beginning I discovered that it was clogged, so I tryed to repair it by doing a cold pull. It didn't work, in particular becouse I can't insert the filament, I even tryed to repair it with a removed PTFE tube. But then another problem appeared: my printer started to display an error message: ERR: MINTEMP. So I acted according to knowledge base by checking my hot-end cables and this is what I found:

the white cable isolation is off.

Despite the fact that cable isolation is off it is still connected, so I am not sure why there is an error. I know that I can replace the hot-end, but I hope there is a way I can salvage it.

Hi,

If the screen of your printer doesn't show the temperature of the room when you power it cold, you can assume wires are broken. The picture is blurry but as far I can seen, it should be a good thing to replace your hotend's thermistor. Prusa sells it alone here.

MK3s Stock, PS2.3, Fusion360, Debian, Windows 10.

"mintemp issues" usually indicate a defective thermistor or a defective thermistor line. I can't see much on the picture, but I guess the thermistor should be changed. You can also check the function with a hair dryer. When you heat the thermistor, this should be indicated on the LCD. If nothing happens, you can check the thermistor or the wires and connectors to find the fault.
