Continuous retracting and wont load to nozzle

Hello, my MMU just doesn't want to load filament to the nozzle. What happens is that it pushes filament to the FINDA then retracts like normal, but when it tries to actually send the filament to the nozzle, it does it a millimeter at a time until it says that's enough somethings wrong. I've made sure the idler screws were not hitting,  updated firmware, made sure there was nothing in the way, made sure the FINDA is adjusted right, and checked the tension screws. Nothing seems to help.

If you have any suggestions, thanks!

@harrypotter, it sounds like your IR sensor is not triggering (or staying triggered) when the filament reaches the extruder.

A way to check this - start a print with the MMU, and open the menu on the MK3S to Support -> Sensor Info while your filament is loading.

You should see the Fil. Sensor flip from 0 to 1 and then *stay at 1* during the load process.

If you observe that the sensor flips back to 0 (or never flips to 1), you have an issue with the IR sensor - either the sensor itself or its positioning. If you see something wonky here, I would recommend revisiting step `10 here: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/8-preflight-check-calibration_219068 . The folks at Prusa Support can also help talk you through it.

Good luck!

Prusa is MK4S w/ MMU3 (formerly MK4 / MMU3, MK3S+/MMU2), 2 Prusa MINI+, Octoprint. PETG, PVB, (some) PLA.

The filament is only just barely getting past the selector, so it isn't even getting that far. I have also made sure that the tensioner is adjusted correctly.

RE:

Even though the sensor info page said zero for the Filament sensor, I took the door off, tried to load to the nozzle and it loaded to the extruded perfectly, put the door back on, adjusted the tension screw like I normally do, and tried again with success.

Thanks @happykatz!
