Why is there drastically different print temps for Prusament PETG if using the MMU2S?

When printing in single mode with the MMU2S, the print temperature is 240/250. When using multi color on the MMU2S, the print temperature is 230/230. What's the reason for this difference? I find 230 does not work especially for multicolor since the layers don't bond as well (though I don't use Prusament with this profile). I end up making a custom profile that mirrors the single mode and higher temperatures. Is there any reason for this difference, or is this an oversight?

This is a guss but it may be when the mmu retracts lower temp might mean less stringing or something so fillament doesn't jam

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

Hey thank you for the response, I think you may be on to something. I was just looking into how I can reduce stringing to get better “tips” for the MMU2S filament changeover. Mine work as they are, but long thin tips are often leftover and cut by the selector on each pass. Unfortunately printing at lower temps causes poor support and purge block printing (in sparse regions of the purge), I believe due to the faster speeds.
