Spooljoin and water soluable material question

Spooljoin says it will use up roll 1, then move to roll 2 and use it up, then on and on until it uses up roll 5.  After 5 is empty, it goes back to roll 1 again.  If I have water soluable material in roll 5, is the MMU2S smart enough to know this and NOT use it as regular material via spooljoin?

Yes, after 5 slot it roll back to slot 1, and starts over. (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5 etc.), that is correct, but no it can't detect which type of filament is present, it simply detect if there is any, by pushing filament thru FINDA probe. So it is up to you maintain same type of material in all five slots if you are using spooljoint function.

Thank you!  I now know to ensure I have a full roll in slot 4 then, to guarentee it does not roll over to 5 and start using water soluable support material as if it was standard plastic.
