Remove / unload / eject change filament from mmu2s ??????
Hello !
I have a hopefully easy question ! I have loaded 5 filaments to my mmu2s, ready to be used. They are all PETG and want to do a multipoint with 5 different PLA colours. How do I remove the filament from the mmu2s.
I am really confused about what unload, eject and cut really means.
Thanks for any help !!!!

If none of the filaments are loaded to the nozzle, just pull them out backwards manually. If your tips are not nice, there can be some friction involved. If the friction is too high, you can unscrew the tubing between MMU and Extruder. Push the filament manually forward instead until it appears and cut the messed up tip. Afterwards pull it out backwards.
If there is still filament in the nozzle, make sure the nozzle is at printing temperature and then choose "unload from nozzle" before trying to remove the filament entirely from the channel.

Hello !!! Thank you for your post ! I really thought that this could be done via one of the command : unload or eject from the display on the printer ! I am still a bit confused about the meaning of these !!!!

Yeah, I was wondering about the same when I got started with my MMU2s.
If you are new to the MMU2s make sure to read the manual carefully, especially, make sure you understand the meaning of the various light signals and the function of the 3 small buttons on the MMU. This is quite important, especially if you happen to have some error. Sadly those are not self explanatory but important to understand correctly.
In fact, I load my filaments to the MMU only via the buttons, never the Mk3s Menu. It is just a more direct and simpler way to do it in my humble opinion.

RE: Remove / unload / eject change filament from mmu2s ??????
Unload - This will retract the filament from the extruder
Eject - It basically feeds the filament forward, as though you're loading it to the extruder, but it doesn't move the selector to that position. The result is that it allows you to pull the filament out of the front of the MMU instead of trying to find a way to push it back out to the spool.
To unload all the filament so that you can switch to PLA, you can usually just wind the filament back onto the spool by hand. You can't do this with the currently selected filamant though. So if the last filament that was printed was spool #3, you can manually pull out filaments #1, 2, 4, and 5. Then hit the button on the front of the MMU to move the selector to either position 2 or 4, then you can pull out filament 3.
As @thejiral noted, sometimes the tip has a bulb on it and you can't pull the filament backwards. You can use the menu options to cut the offending filament, which results in the tip being cut off. Then you should be able to feed it backwards.
