Purge Volume Calibration/tuning?
Hello everyone. I have *finally* gotten a setup for my MMU that works (commong upgrade discussed in forums).
Now I am looking for ways to easily tune my purge volumes. The closest solution I have found is here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3830316
This allows you to print a multi-color part and then use the geometry of the part as a volume measure, to watch the purge color gradient change to become the desired color. You can then use that as your purge volume. The setup does this for upto 5x color. But the part it prints is very small and I am having a heck of a time using it!
Does anyone else have any tips or tricks? Ideally I'd be able to just runt a large first layer 'sheet' where the printer switches colors and I can use the distance it traveled to determine the volume required to purge? Kinda like having a really large, single layer purge tower?
