Please Post your Videos of the New MMU 2

Please post your videos of the new MMU 2 when you get a chance on YouTube. I have been holding off buying one because of the first MMU did not live up to expectations. Lots of people had problems with it and posted videos and I decided to hold off.
I am eager to put in my order if this one lives up to the hype.
Thanks.

Re: Please Post your Videos of the New MMU 2

Cube3D has now uploaded to YouTube a video of the MMU 2.0 in use which also shows clearly how the filament feed works...

There is also one by Chris Warkocki, showing it printing, and he has his spools positioned on either side of the printer...

Thanks.
I saw the first one already.
The second one I fast forwarded through to see a few things. He was going at a slow pace and rambled a bit but some good information.

@brian.c24

Had to stop the penguin print using settings from your success video. No jams, but had a layer skip on the feet. At least the skip was early. So just doing the software tweaks only wasn't enough.
The skip was due to filament not passing thru the extruder gears because of stringing. So the tiny little bowden seems to really be an issue if tips aren't perfect. At a minimun the sensor cover mod Chris Warcocki and you have done seems mandatory.

A side from printing a new sensor cover.
Do u need a different coupler/festo?
Can u reuse the same orange Bowden tube?

Well, the feed-thru coupler may help you, but there are at least three different reasons why you would get a skipped layer and stringing is the root of pretty much all of them. If you have stringing, I'd mess around with the settings and try to minimize them first. How? Your guess is as good as mine if my settings did not work for you.

You will have to buy a pass-thru coupler as well as print the new cover. You would use the same orange tube. The model is here, and a link to the couplers that I happen to use is in the description. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3129388

Cheers,
Brian

That's cool. Good luck with it. My idler likely suffered since it was black, but having one in PC definitely can't hurt.

Re: Please Post your Videos of the New MMU 2

My couplers are arriving tomorrow. I haven't had jams in that area, but I want to make every bit as bulletproof as possible.

Re: Please Post your Videos of the New MMU 2

Couplers just arrived, thanks amazon prime. Printing sensor cover now. I dont know if layer height matters for the threads, so printing at 0.10 (only 47 mins)

Then I want to try and beat that penguin that keeps beating me.
