I have one of them there all black Mk3S+ thingies. They are indeed better than the Halloween themed ones.

Mine is printing right now. None of the stupid problems that plague the Orange ones.

Everyone knows the formula, c = λ f, where c is the speed of light, λ the wavelength in meters, and f equals the frequency in cycles per second. Black absorbs all colors/frequencies and is therefore faster.

Black? Orange?
RE: New Prusa i3 MK3S+ all black
That looks very nice. Anything but pumpkin in my book.
But... you re-printed the parts in PET-G? Really? If I re-print (which I am considering), I will be nylon or PC.

Black may be faster than orange but prints stick better on the orange ones.
RE: New Prusa i3 MK3S+ all black
If PETG is good enough for Prusa it is good enough for me. At the moment I only print PLA, PETG and PETG HT.
When I move to other materials and /or will use an enclosure, I will reprint in an more temp resistant material. But the PETG HT works fine for the fan shroud so that could be good enough.
RE: New Prusa i3 MK3S+ all black
Huh. Interesting.
My enclosure is off on a vacation seeing the USA. Stopping by every kleindorf between the Pacific and the Atlantic. Grrrrrrr...
PC panels, 80/20 frame. Should be good for heat.
No reason to believe that I want/need/will print higher temp stuff, but such that I am making changes/additions, they will be high temp friendly.
With nylon/PC, you do have this weird selection of chemistry yet fewer color choices.

@baklin
For some things, PETG is fine. I would say that if you start seeing your PINDA holder or Fan should sag or deform, consider something other than PETG.

That is why I use the PETG HT. It should be fine up to 100 deg C. So far no problems with the pinda holder or fan shroud.
I print that with the profile for ColorfabbHT in PS. That uses 270 deg C nozzle temp and 110 deg C bed temp. That is high enough to make any problems visible by now.
RE: New Prusa i3 MK3S+ all black
Which brand of PETG HT are you using?

I use Colorfabb. Some one mentioned it in one of the fan shroud posts. And as it is a Dutch company it is easy for me to get quickly and get free shipping here.
Only wish they had more colors.
