MMU2S with Fillamentum
Hi there
I'm a huge fan of the Fillamentum-brand 'cause of the colors and its also direct in the Prusa-Shop. But i have some issues with the filament-change, even in single mode. :-/ Very often i got a manuall interaction within the filament-change and a little scared to start a bigger multicolorprint.
Does anyone uses the same filament brand with the MMU2s and what are your favorite settings in the PrusaSlicer?
Thx a lot.
Claudens
RE: MMU2S with Fillamentum
Hi Claudens,
I had problems with Filamentum too, so reverted back to Prusament to set up and 'prove' the MMU2S. I shall give the Filamentum another try when I have the time and patience, but if you have any Prusament around, it might be worth trying that to start with as a 'known' element.
RE: MMU2S with Fillamentum
Thx Apromain, so "my" Filament is one possible error source. :-/ The Thing is, in Switzerland we have no reseller for Prusament.
I'll try a little more with some settings and mods from the community. Hope i get soon better results. 🙂
Any other Feedbacks?
RE: MMU2S with Fillamentum
I've used the fillamentum extrafill traffic white with the default pla settings with the MMU2S with no filament change failures.
RE: MMU2S with Fillamentum
In the meantime I experimented a little more and had a successful multicolor print with no jams. I set the "unloading speed at the start" to 120 (thx Chris from your Basement) and the tips got a lot better.
Now the Verbatim BVHO is still a little troublemaker (sure because of the moisture, although I have a the drybox).
Thank you for your feedback wpegden.
Greetings Claudens

@claand
Also from Switzerland. I basically rely on Fillamentum for my MMU2s. Prints fine and reliably as Fillamentum PLA behaves all the same throughout the whole color range. Should be totally fine after being dialled in.

thanks for your feedback, nice to hear that Fillamentum is working. I'm still trying and it's getting better, getting confident.
