MMU troubleshooting
is there a updated troubleshooting guide somewhere?
my issues are:
1. the selector roller gets unaligned on the shaft,
2. the spool holder mechanism makes a knot on filament change
3. sometimes it operates as a normal standard printer and sometimes as a MMU printer, how is this set?
4. why does the MMU communicate by blinking leds instad of messages on the main screen?

Wow. Nope. Welcome to the club. Good luck getting help.
1) Check the scews, they loosen up. Don't tighten them, the drum will crack.
2) Use something like my filament wallet or wait for any of a few copies which are also still being developed.
3) I bet the connectors on the back of the MMU are loose. Sometimes if I get weird behavior I wiggle them and it helps.
4) That's hardly the top of the list in dumb things the MMU does. It highlights that the approach is either wrong or unimplemented - there is some conversation between the two but most of that information is ignored by the other side.
4b) I've made any number of requests to at least have "what does a particular light mean, and what do the buttons do then" but I've been told to find a short pier to walk off loads of times.
Search around for some of the existing threads on making the MMU work, there are lots of fixes and it can be done, but you won't get that help from Prusa - certainly not here. There's a LOT of non-Prusa-assosiated talent writing firmware and developing hardware so search around.
I would love to be proven wrong here. Let's see, eh?
