RE: MMU 2 failure on first print.

If in doubt just post the project file (zipped) to get help in the forum.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

There is also always the option to print it in two halves, as an alternative plan.

Regarding colouring, Prusa slicer has some really nice paint on tool nowadays. I haven't much tried it myself but I think it is a very neat and easy tool.

I does, only downside is: if you change your model in your CAD program, you have to paint everything again… Workflow wise it’s better to keep the colouring in mind when designing the model in fusion 360 and generate the different coloured parts, be aware that the parts must be deep enough (not just a surface layer or two) and that they must not overlap but fit exactly without tolerance (if they overlap they will be printed as such, resulting in to much material per space).

hint for multipart object export from fusion 360: right click the whole component in the object tree (not just the object) and export as mesh and select 3mf. This way everything is referenced correctly and will show in slicer as expected. Only visible objects will be exported, so make sure everything is visible. You can even send it directly to slicer via the export dialog.

Thank you very much  I have been learning about the paint tool, and I did understand about the Fusion  360 issues you are talking about.   I'm sorry it took so long to respond.  It's been a busy few days.
