Filament Profiles

I feel like we need a good organized way for people to share what settings are working for the filaments they are using!! I think temp and ram settings are key to MMU success. Why isn't there an entire forum section dedicated to it?

So far I am finding that 5 degrees in either direction and increasing ramming time has made a lot of difference for me.

Hatchbox Black - I lowered temp
Solutech Glow in the Dark - I raised temp and increased ram time to 4
Inland purple+ and pink+ - used Chris's Pretty profile
Prusa Sliver - using Prusa profile
Maker Geeks yellow - Generic PLA profile with temp at 230

Inland PLA: I'm having luck with first layer 205, print at 200, 4 second ram, 140 mm/s starting unload speed, ram temperature dropped to 180 (basically power off during RAM).

Atomic PLA: 210/200 with 1.5s ram, not perfect yet but an improvement on the Generic PLA settings.

Re: Filament Profiles

140 mm/s starting unload speed

From memory, E motor speed is limited to 100mm/s (or 120mm/s) in firmware (M203 E7200)

The actual limit is determined by the MCU and the individual motor. Pushing it above the limits causes missed steps, stringing and failed unloads/loads.
