Filament Pooling after loading

I recently purchased a MK3S along with the MMU2. I am experiencing a problem with dissolvable filaments. I have my PLA filaments loaded into feeders 1-4, and the dissolvabe in feeder 5. If i print an object with PLA from feeder 1 and supports from PLA feeder 2, everything prints fine. Now if I change the G-Code to use feeder 5 with the dissolvable filament for supports, it has some issues. Once the MMU2 slides over to load the dissolvable filament in feeder 5, it starts loading, but just purges out the end while not moving. It is supposed to purge out while moving, but just sits still and makes a mess. Not sure why it acts this way with the different filament.

I am not an MMU user, but struggling with another issue found there is an obscure MMU2 setting in the slicer that must be clicked to indicate a position has soluble filament.  You might want to dig a bit deeper into the various extruder settings ... compare the Ext2 defaults vs the Ext5 defaults. Both in Print and Printer settings.   Old recollection, sorry I can be more specific.

RE: Filament Pooling after loading

I'm not certain on editing the G-Code directly, but in PrusaSlicer there is a pre-defined Print Setting for Soluble Full, or Soluble Interface (where the majority of the support is the cheaper PLA, and only the few layers right at the point of contacting the finished part are the Soluble material)

Having said that, I've been waiting for the dryness of summer before breaking out the Soluble material, so I haven't tested it yet myself (we've had a very wet spring, and we're still drying out)

I guess I had the same issue with PP. See my thread

I hope this will help.
