Filament blocking at load/unload sometimes

Hi all,

sometimes the filament is stuck, when changing the color.

After some layers are printed with multi color, the filament is blocking. the tip of the filament is too thick.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

TIA

I am not sure there is enough information in your post. I have installed a few of these.  Where is the block?  Are you referring to a jam?

What Chuck said. Some more info needed...

Are you using the stock PTFE tubes? Is the tip stuck in there? I replaced the PTFE between the extruder and selector with an ID 2,5mm tube and that made my MMU much more reliable.

Yes, outside diameter is 4mm, fits like the stock ones...

You can get nearly every combination : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001886299086.html

I use ID 2,5 x 4 mm OD as described and ID 3 x 4 mm OD between my dry boxes, the buffer and the MMU to reduce friction.
