Extruder motor rotating opposite direction after build
💡 Hey Guys,
Just completed my MMUv2 build and although it was a solid build with clear instructions I couldn’t load my first filament.
On initialise it made load clicking noises.
Each attempt to load filament would result in the Extruder not selecting a drive and then failing to load.
I contacted support and checked everything to no avail.
I was scratching my head looking at the open board hanging there when I saw that a pair of wires where backward on the Extruder connector to the other steppers.
Swap them to match other connectors and correct reversed stepper (swap any two windings of a brushless motor to reverse)
I’m not sure how the connector was populated wrong but if I got one rest assured there will be others.
I have successfully print a couple MMU prints now and many more to come. Hope all waiting receive theirs quick smart to get to appreciate it too 👍
