Change color at layer
I am printing some knobs and want to change the color at the begging of a shaft that recesses inside another part. The color change will give me contrast and some idea of how much the knob is turned.
I sliced it in MMU2s Single mode and added a color change at the desired layer. When the print stopped, I thought I would be able to manually switch the MMU2s to the other color. I was printing from 5 and now wanted to print from 2. I was able to change the MMU2s to 2, however as soon as I hit the button to restart the print it moved back to 5.
Is where a way to do this? I don't what to actually change the color in 5, the buffer, etc. Or is there a way to do this in non-single mode without having to make it a multipart.
Thanks
Greg

Ok, Playing around I did discover that I can do the exact same thing in non-single and it will ask me which extruder. However this is not optimal. The knobs are small and the wipe tower uses more filament that the objects.
