When Was The Green Dot Heater Block Release Date?
I had to replace my heater block a bit ago due to a massive blob that was simply too powerful to remove successfully...the time spent to remove it was not worth it due to the price of a new one being so low.
Anyway, this means I cannot check my heater block to see if it has a green dot - it is a replacement block. Does anyone know when the green dotted heater blocks started being shipped? I would rather not replace my PTFE tube if I do not have to do it.

I decided to do what I should have done at the start and just ask the online support tech...who of course new in a few minutes! LOL Silly me.
But, in case anyone else is seeking this info, the new tube was put into production the last week of November/first week of December 2017, so anyone whose printer was shipped in 2018 should have the new ptfe tube in their printer and not need to replace it if they add on the MMU2.

Yes, Nov and Dec 2017, and received your printer the year of 2018.
