Purge/Wipetower problems

Hello,

I am new to all things Prusa and Prusa Slicer.  I am trying to print a whistle with a ball inside to test out dissolvable support material and during the change from PLA to PVA the nozzle remains stationary and continues to extrude the support material, see below, 2 of the 3 times I have intervened, the only time it has been left the printer stopped and informed me there was an MMU error.

What is going on?

Thanks 🙂

RE: Purge/Wipetower problems

I'm not sure what really caused - it's just a speculation.

The circle is very similar to my MMU2S issue. It was caused by IR sensor not being able to trigger the filament going through chimney. If filament went through chimney and IR sensor triggered, it would stop running filament through nozzle and continue printing. If IR sensor did not trigger, the filament would running out of nozzle and created the "circle" like picture shown.

You can check whether IR sensor is triggered or not.
