Please help: MMU2 Does not unload filament (all the way)
The symptom (latest firmware 8/19/2019):
Any filament (1-5) WILL NOT unload all the way. After successful loading, I try to "Unload filament" from the menu, only to have the filament backout from the extruder about an inch.
(This was NOT the case before I did a factory reset and recalibrated lengths. Before recalibration, filament 1 would always successfully unload, but not 2-5.)
Now after recalibration, NONE of the filaments will unload ALL THE WAY.
It appears the new calibration lengths, for some reason, are not obeyed during the unload process.
I should note that during the unload process, the pulley stepper does not 'spin' as it did when successfully unloading filament 1. So there does not appear a 'traction' or 'friction' issue.
I followed these calibration instructions https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/Service+menu+-+Individual+Filament+Calibration/842
Anyone, please help.
Thanks
RE: Please help: MMU2 Does not unload filament (all the way)
On the MMU2s the tube length does not need to be calibrated, as it uses the sensors instead.
I'm not sure how well the MMU2 (non-S) is supported on the current firmware, if at all.
The MMU2S really does work a lot better. I recommend upgrading.
