more gummy bears needed
if you have to replace the Idler body assembly.. holy crap. if I had known I would have used a press at work. getting the bearings out is nasty.
bright note first time printing nylon worked perfect.
I have a Prusa,therefore I research.
Re: more gummy bears needed
I know the pain, I had to chainsaw my old extruder body open during the upgrade because of a jammed screw. It was pretty scary!
It has taught me the importance of cleaning up as much stringing as possible before inserting nuts and screws into printed parts, you don't want strings to get inside the threads and seize it up permanently. I had a M3nS nut that had sheared the walls inside the part and just spun around when trying to undo a bolt.
Fortunately I had planned ahead and had some backup candy ready.
