MMU2S on a Nk3S cannot unload filament

I am testeing the rig, and the MMU cannot seem to push filament back down the PTFE tube, so it stalls and rapidly blinks a red LED above the feed.

I have tried manually unloading and reloading the filament, it has no kinks in it, the tip is pointy, and there's no problem pushing filament up the feeder tube. I even uncoupled the buffer to decrease the length of tube and to avoid possible snagging of the filament between the parts of the buffer, but to no effect.

Please advice.

Here are some things to check.

1) Try another filament - Some of my older filament will not print at all. too much moisture?

2) Ensure the tip of the filament is cut before loading filament

3) Try flipping the PTFE tube end on the extruder to the MMU2 and vice versa

4) Make sure there arent any visible kinks in any of the PTFE tubes; The back of MMU, the buffer, or from the mmu to the hotend - may help to push the filament through by hand to the hotend just to get a feel for it

While changing the orientation of the PTFE tube use some compressed air to blow out the parts to ensure that a piece of filament or string isnt stuck somewhere

May have to end up disassembling the MMU to ensure that all screws are tight and that nothing is slipping during operation
